Malachi Vale

Malachi Vale is the musical brainchild of the multidisciplinary artist Marc Gagnon, a Montreal native who has been writing, playing and recording music since the dawn of the new millennium.

His music is an eclectic blend of blues, folk, country, americana and jazz, superimposed on Marc’s nostalgic and deep vocals; a voice reminiscent of Tom Waits or Leonard Cohen, but with a unique flow that explores the musical aspect of the lyrics.

He has released 3 albums with his band Pipo Fiasco: “Omen Cats” in 2000, “33 1/3” in 2003 and “PARADE” in 2006, which received critical acclaim: “beautifully recorded, diy tour de force” - Earshot; “un fiasco réussi” - VOIR.

Malachi Vale will release a brand new 11-title album on November 23rd, with the first single “Gypsy Rose” releasing on October 12 under Ray-On.
